TET’s task is to conduct legality review of
- Danish Security and Intelligence Service (DSIS)
- Danish Defence Intelligence Service (DDIS)
- Centre for Cybersecurity (CFCS)
- PNR Unit of the National Police (PNR Unit)
Review Work
According to the legislation, TET has full access to information held by DSIS, DDIS, CFCS, and the PNR Unit. TET applies a risk-based approach in its oversight, determining the intensity of the review itself.
Standards for Danish Intelligence Review Activities
TET’s work requires knowledge of the authorities’ IT infrastructure, resource prioritization and an effective review methodology. As such, TET has developed a set of standards for its review activities.
Oversight Response Options
As a general rule, TET does not have the authority to mandate specific measures for DSIS, DDIS, CFCS, or the PNR Unit. However, TET can issue statements and recommendations to the authorities.
