Other Complaints
A natural or legal person can file a complaint with TET regarding the failure of DSIS to comply with the provisions of the legislation.
Additionally, a natural or legal person resident in Denmark can file a complaint about the failure of DDIS to comply with the provisions of the legislation.
Finally, a natural person can file a complaint about CFCS’s failure to comply with the provisions regarding the processing of personal data in the legislation.
If you wish to file a complaint with TET regarding DSIS, DDIS, and/or CFCS not complying with the provisions of the legislation, you can contact the Oversight Board. It is important that your complaint includes your full name and an explanation of the background for your complaint.
How Your Complaint Is Handled
TET will determine whether your complaint provides sufficient grounds for an investigation.
TET may reject baseless or irrelevant complaints, or complaints that require a more detailed investigation, which cannot be expected to reasonably align with the anticipated outcome, given the resources available to the Oversight Board.
How Your Complaint Is Answered
Your complaint will be responded to to the extent possible within the framework of the legislation.
TET’s operations are exempt from
- the Public Administration Files Act (lov om offentlighed i forvaltningen), except for §13 regarding the duty to document,
- chapters 4-6 of the Administrative Act (forvaltningsloven),
- the Data Protection Act (databeskyttelsesloven),
- regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons regarding the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and
- the Law on the Processing of Personal Data by Law Enforcement Authorities (retshåndhævelsesloven).
